A WoolWhirl (also known as a Yarn Buddy or yarn cake holder) holds a yarn cake and allows you to pull the yarn from the outside. The spindle rides on a ball bearing turntable. This allows you to keep your yarn tangle-free. The spindle is 4 1/2 inches (11,5cm) tall, the turntable is 4 1/2 inches (11,5cm) in diameter. The base is 5 3/16 inches (13cm) in diameter and rests on four non-marring rubber feet.
The WoolWhirl is finished with two coats of polyurethane. The WoolWhirl is available in four different woods and price points. Each WoolWhirl is carefully inspected before shipping to ensure correct operation and a snag-free finish.
Due to the nature of wood there will be differences in grain and colour.
